Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find all the barriers within
that you have built against it.

About my practice
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Master's degree, and over 20 years of independent psychotherapy practice. I am an EMDR-trained clinician, having completed an EMDRIA-approved basic training program and additional instruction in Predictive Processing (PP) Flash therapy. I have also earned Level II certification in Advanced Trauma Treatment through the Ferentz Institute.
My practice focuses primarily on individual therapy with adults, offering both short- and long-term treatment. While I am glad to provide brief therapy, much of my work involves supporting clients over longer durations. My areas of experience are as follows:
anxiety and panic
issues around abandonment
histories of abuse and complex post-traumatic stress
depression
grief and loss
life transitions
relationship challenges
divorce recovery
stress management
My therapeutic approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and grounded in the belief that each person has an innate capacity for growth. My practice is informed by several psychological frameworks, including attachment and humanistic theories, Internal Family Systems (IFS), polyvagal and somatic approaches, and trauma-informed care. As an EMDR- and PP Flash-trained clinician, I help clients find relief from distressing or traumatic memories through guided reprocessing and neural reconsolidation. When appropriate, I also incorporate creative modalities from art therapy, journaling, and psychodrama, along with mindfulness-based practices to support emotional regulation and resiliency. This integrative approach offers meaningful psychoeducation and promotes deeper insight to enhance well-being and personal development.
Those whom I work with often share that they feel comfortable working with me and that our sessions bring them relief and noticeable improvement in their symptoms. I am passionate about this work and hold great respect for every person who entrusts me to accompany them on their individual journey.
